At the 5th Annual M&A Advisor Awards presented in New York this year, CHAMP and Castle Harlan jointly won Private Equity Firm of the Year. The competition received a record 130 nominations, from which 21 award winners were chosen.

From October 2005—September 2006 CHI and CHAMP, including CHAMP Ventures, executed over 24 transactions with a total value of US$3.6 billion.

Whilst controversy swirls around the mega fund/mega deal surge of icon takeovers, CHAMP has been recognized for getting on with its traditional business of investing selectively in solid mid-market companies and supporting them in outstanding growth.
