The company provides nursing, personal care and domestic services staff to public and private hospitals, residential aged care facilities and to individuals who require home care.  HCA is the nationwide operating entity for a collection of prominent and established brands in the healthcare services market.

The company has continued the growth and sector consolidation strategy of Nursing Agency Australia (“NAA”), the foundation business acquired by HCA in March 2004. HCA has since undertaken a series of acquisitions to make it the clear market leader in the Australian nursing agency sector, and one of Australia’s largest private businesses in the home care sector.

CHAMP purchased HCA in December 2005 from majority-owner DB Capital Partners, with the senior management team of HCA remaining with the business and re-investing alongside CHAMP. CHAMP intends to support the continued growth of the HCA business through both investment and acquisition.
