MIA Group is the largest medical imaging services company in Australia and the only integrated private medical diagnostic services company in the UK. AMIL initially invested in the largest Victorian radiology group in 1997, with an enterprise value of some A$65 million. It then supported it in acquisition and merger activities with six other practices to create a national service operation, which listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2000. MIA has continued to expand in Australia and the United Kingdom, and in 2002 entered the ASX Top 100 index with a market cap of over A$1 billion.
